BeeHive Defense (“we”, “our”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.

- Gameplay progress is stored locally on your device.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Optional device permissions are used only for features you initiate.
- No account is required to play.
Information We Collect
Gameplay data (local). Wave progress, hive upgrades, unlocked bees, meta currency, settings, and language preference are saved on your device using local storage. This data stays on your phone unless you back up your device through Apple iCloud or another backup service.
Information you provide voluntarily. If you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address, device model, and message content) solely to help resolve your request.
Device Permissions
The app may request the following permissions. Each is optional and only used when you use the related feature:
- Camera — to capture hive moments and share your best defense runs.
- Microphone — when you record short gameplay clips to share with friends.
- Photo Library — to read photos so you can set a custom hive avatar.
If you deny a permission, the related feature will be unavailable; the rest of the game continues to work.
How We Use Information
- Operate core gameplay and save your progress.
- Remember your settings and language choice.
- Respond to support requests you send us.
- Improve stability when you report a bug.
Data Sharing
We do not share, rent, or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Children’s Privacy
BeeHive Defense is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data Retention & Deletion
Local game data remains on your device until you delete the app or reset app data. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted within a reasonable period.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information processed by the app. No method of storage is 100% secure; please keep your device updated and protected.
International Users
The app is available internationally. By using BeeHive Defense you agree that support communications may be handled in English.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.

How do I save my progress?
Progress is saved automatically on your device after each wave. Reinstalling the app may reset local data unless you restore from an iCloud backup.
Why does the app ask for camera or photos access?
These permissions power optional features — sharing run screenshots and setting a custom hive avatar. You can decline them and still play the full game.
How do I unlock new bee species?
Defeat bosses to earn Royal Jelly, then visit Hive Meta to unlock bees and permanent upgrades between runs.
The game feels too hard on later waves
Invest in workers early for economy, evolve key bees with pollen, and pick wave blessings that match your strategy. Meta upgrades persist across runs.
How do I change the language?
Open Settings from the main menu and choose from eight supported languages including English, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, and more.
